Flettner^® Ventilator provide a range of wind powered boat ventilation products.

Ventilation on boats is essential for both occupant well-being and the upkeep of the vessel. Flettner^® Ventilators serve a dual purpose in helping to provide ventilation during periods when the boat is occupied as well as providing an energy efficient ventilation solution for those times when it is left unattended for long periods.

Flettner^® ventilators are ideal for providing ventilation for the cabins of pleasure cruisers and for the living accommodation of narrow boats in order to reduce condensation and excessive heat build-up. Where bottled gas is stored fitment of a Flettner^® Ventilator can also be a key precautionary measure.

In certain parts of the world, Flettner^® ventilators are also widely used to provide forced air extraction for the engine rooms and galleys of fishing vessels. Flettner^® ventilators are also particularly suitable for the toilet compartments of pleasure craft and other vessels to remove odours.

In situations where the boat is moored or left unattended , Flettner^® ventilators continue to provide ‘free’ ventilation subject to a light breeze without any battery drainage and thereby help prevent the build-up of mould and the deterioration of the fixtures and fittings caused by condensation.  In addition, our ventilators help remove the ‘musty’ smell associated with stale air as a result of leaving vessels unattended for long periods of time.
