Catering Vehicle Ventilation

Our ventilators are widely used around the world by businesses providing food from mobile catering vans or trailers and are generally utilised for three major reasons:
- To reduce the temperature inside the vehicle whilst cooking or other food preparation tasks are underway. The daytime interior temperature of un-ventilated vehicles even in temperate latitudes can reach 100ºF in sunshine or higher still when the vehicle is stationary.
- To remove stale air from vehicles caused by the build-up of cooking odours. This will improve the comfort of the occupants and ensure fresh air is continually being ‘drawn’ through the vehicle.
- To minimise condensation within vehicles. This applies especially to situations where vehicles are parked up overnight without any heating. The installation of our ventilators in this case can reduce the damage to foodstuffs and the deterioration of the vehicle’s interior caused by water build up and mould growth.
Designed to rotate and therefore extract in the lightest of winds (circa 5 mph), our ventilators are ideal where an electrical hook up is either not practical or present. As a result our ventilators have no running costs, are totally maintenance free and can be fitted in as little as 30 minutes.
An internal shutter even allows you to regulate the air flow so you can extract as much or as little of the air inside the vehicle as you want at different times of the year depending on weather conditions.
